St Andrew’s children gathered in and around one of our three magnolia trees in full bloom after worship for Mothering Sunday. At the end of the service they had handed every member of the congregation a posy of daffodils and tulips which they had put together in Junior Church. Once they gave spring posies on Mothering Sunday only to the women. Now they do not discriminate and posies are given to everyone in recognition of the love and care provided by the church.
